| Event: Locavore Challenge |

NOFA-NY (Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York) is sponsoring the Locavore Challenge during September. For $45 for the month ($15 for a week, $7 for a day), you get a resource packet, including menu suggestions and recipes, and access to other information and/or events. Cornell Cooperative Extension, 249 Highland Ave., will host its Localvore Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, which will include activities such as zucchini races, a veggie art display, entertainment, a mini farmers market, information on herb gardening and more.
