Just In: Local Fresh Herbs!

Co-op owner Jay Stratton has dropped off on Friday a wonderful batch of fresh and local herbs:

<!--[if !supportLists]-->         <!--[endif]-->Rosemary

<!--[if !supportLists]-->         <!--[endif]-->Parsley

<!--[if !supportLists]-->         <!--[endif]-->Sage

<!--[if !supportLists]-->         <!--[endif]-->Lavender

<!--[if !supportLists]-->         <!--[endif]-->Thyme

If you've ever used fresh herbs in your cooking, you'll know that it makes going back to conventional dried herbs pretty hard to do. These goodies won't be long on the shelf, so come down this weekend to grab a bunch.

Super fragrant, lavender is perfect for making dream pillows.

Freeze some for Thanksgiving!

Rosemary, sage, and thyme are classics for Thanksgiving standards like stuffing. Just because summer is over doesn't mean that you can't use fresh herbs throughout the year. By simply freezing them, you can guarantee having their unique and delicate flavors through the winter.
